MTV's The Valleys set for second series
MTV producers are on the lookout for the next round of "undiscovered Welsh stars" to appear on the second series of the controversial reality show The Valleys.
Billed as Wales's answer to The Only Way Is Essex, the first series saw nine young people move to live and work in Cardiff, including Nicole Morris, from Swansea, and Port Talbot's Lateysha Grace.

The show is calling on aspiring models, DJs and "everything glamorous in between" for what they describe as "a life-changing journey."
MTV say new cast members must be Welsh, aged 18-26 and "currently live in The Valleys (South Wales)."

The makers of the show previously defended its portrayal of the area, saying it is "absolutely not about stereotyping."
After the show first aired, Rhondda MP Chris Bryant said the show was "twice as bad" as he had feared it was going to be and singer Charlotte Church said the series was "horrific."
"The next series of The Valleys is coming soon to MTV and we are looking for some undiscovered Welsh stars to join the reality show," it said on MTV's website.
"The Valleys bosses, Jordan and AK will be back to mentor the aspiring wannabes, taking young hopefuls and moving them to Cardiff where they will get the chance to pursue their dream job.
"From models to DJs, and everything glamorous in between, this will be a life-changing journey. So if you have the drive and talent then the sky is the limit!
"We are looking for new cast members who are: Welsh; currently live in The Valleys (South Wales); aged 18-26; have bags of personality and loads of ambition!"
The programme is set to air in spring 2013.

“Sheep in the pictures.
You do realise if this was about black people and a golly *** was used instead of sheep there would be a national media frenzy cos the implication here is that welsh people have sex with sheep. But they stick it on TV.
So much for a racism huh, the biggest con, second to religion.”
