ABERAVON MP Hywel Francis has attacked the Chancellors's Autumn Statement for being unfair to families and women.

Dr Francis said 60 per cent of working households would lose around £279 in benefits and tax credits while millionaires would get an average tax cut of £170,000.

"Women are paying the price for this government's economic failure," he said.

"Research by the House of Commons Library has shown that women will bear the brunt of trying to cope with lower child benefit."

“Now that we know all the figures it has been shown it is the poorest people who will be hardest hit by this Autumn Statement(budget). Men and women on small incomes with young families being hit the hardest.

In my opinion anyone who ties to defend the actions of Osborn this week is below contempt. Many of us were young once with not a lot of money and small kids. I know i was. If ever the government should help you then this is the time. I'm still forking out for my kids in uni now, but at least i have had over 30 years of working and saving to help me get through this.

Shame on the Tories. Many people were fooled by them in 2010. Remember the saying in 2015, shame me once shame on you,shame......... BTW if you want a good laugh look up George Bush saying that on youtube , it's absolutely brilliant”
