Lush supporting Cariad campaign against puppy farming this weekend
LUSH in Swansea is doing its bit for the campaign to end puppy farming this weekend.
The Whitewalls store is hosting the event for Cariad (Care And Respect Includes All Dogs) — a coalition of dog charities, rescue and campaign groups against puppy farming.
Cariad founder Linda Goodman said: " Cariad is incredibly grateful to have the support of Lush — a wonderful company that is so wholly committed to animal welfare and ethical trading.
"Last weekend we had a fantastic event at the Lush store in Carmarthen and we're thrilled to be at the Swansea store this weekend.

"It's a great boost to our education and awareness programme so that people have a better understanding of what's really going on behind so many barn doors in commercial breeding establishments across Wales right now. They will also be able to meet some of the dogs, the puppy farm survivors, at the store over the weekend."
It is estimated that 50,000 puppies come from Wales each year for the UK market, with approximately 28,000 of those from Carmarthenshire alone.
