The case has been adjourned until the week commencing May 20. No pleas were entered.

The Pontypridd rock singer has been remanded in custody since December.

The artist is charged with conspiring to rape a child under the age of 13 and conspiring to engage in sexual activity with a child under 13.

He also faces three charges relating to possession and distribution of indecent photos, and a charge of possession of extreme pornography.

The lawyer for Ian Watkins says he furiously denies all the charges, BBC Radio 5 live reporter Mark Hutchings tweeted today, and "intends to fight to the bitter end to clear his name".
