GREEN-FINGERED children joined with like-minded members of the community in Llangennech to plant new trees.

Troserch Woodland Society visited years three to six pupils from Llangennech Junior's Eco Club to plant at the school.

Jan Glover, of the society, said it was the first time they'd worked with the school, and said: "We planted 20 trees of a native variety from the woodland, including oak, beech and mountain ash.

"The children loved it.
