Llanelli rugby stars relive All Blacks memories at commemorative dinner
THE men who delivered Llanelli rugby's finest hour will gather at Parc y Scarlets tonight with Delme Thomas declaring: "The magic of 1972 will forever be in my memory."
Members of the Llanelli RFC team that defeated New Zealand 9-3 will attend a commemorative dinner 40 years to the day of the historic triumph.

And Thomas, skipper all those years ago, insists that recalling the occasion still leaves him with a warm glow.
"It has been a brilliant memory over the years," he said. "It was a magical day. Before, during and after the match, everything was special. The atmosphere inside the ground had to be experienced to be believed.
