Llanelli man hid stolen Asda chicken snack down trousers
A MAN hid a £2 chicken snack down his trousers and walked out of a Llanelli supermarket.
He was stopped outside the Asda store and handed the item back to the security guard.
When the case came to court yesterday (Thursday), his solicitor said: "That will turn out to be the most expensive piece of chicken in his life, given the penalty he faces today."
Llanelli magistrates heard that the supermarket — given where the chicken had been stashed — had decided not re-sell the item and instead asked for compensation.
