Live on the big screen
EVERY decade has one — the less than cool classical musician who favours cream tuxedos and floppy locks and who shifts albums by the truckload.
André Rieu is turning out to be the Richard Clayderman or the James Last of the moment with those easy-on-the-ear waltzes sure to get a good airing in the run-up to the festive period.
If you want to enjoy his Home for Christmas concert then make tracks to Swansea's Vue cinema on Saturday at 5pm, for a live link-up by satellite from his home in Maastricht.
To add a personal touch cinema audiences will be able to take part in a live Q&A with him before the concert screenings too.

The concert itself will gather up his Johann Strauss Orchestra, soloists and choir to play holiday classics in his garden and at Saint Pierter Church.
André says: "I travel around the world for the whole year working hard to bring music and joy to my audiences and fans, but I am always home for Christmas.
"From the sacral Silent Night and Ave Maria to beloved classics like White Christmas and Go Tell It On The Mountain, this concert is a celebration of life, peace and music."
