Little girl with leukaemia raises money for LATCH
Rhian Jones a 10 year old girl from fforestfach was diagnosed in April 2013 with lymphoblastic leukaemia. She is under going chemotherapy treatment at the children's hospital in Cardiff.
Rhian decided she would like to raise money for the charity LATCH to help others in her situation by making bracelets and selling them giving all the proceeds to LATCH. Rhian and her mum set up a Facebook page on thurs 5th Sept and it became an instant hit with over 800 likes within just 4 days. They have been overwhelmed with the amount of orders and support they are receiving.
Rhian loves making the bracelets and mum says 'it is is such a boost for her knowing she has so much support and it is giving her something to focus on'.
