Lido boss still desperate for points
AFAN Lido host Rhyl tomorrow (2.30), with their situation looking increasingly desperate.
Paul Evans's side are four points adrift at the bottom of the table and have still not recorded a league win this season.
But they will be encouraged after claiming a point against high-flying Carmarthen Town last Friday.
Lido led with 30 minutes remaining before Paul Fowler's strike earned his side a share of the spoils.
Carmarthen face the daunting prospect of a home match against table-topping The New Saints.
The Saints thrashed Connah's Quay 5-0 a week ago and have lost just once so far this season.
They managed an even bigger victory against Town last month, winning 6-0.
Town have since been on a five-game unbeaten run and will be boosted by a midweek Word Cup demolition of Cymru Alliance side Caersws at the Recreation Ground.
The holders won 5-0 and were three goals up by half-time after Liam Thomas netted a double either side of a goal from ex-Bluebirds midfielder Corey Jenkins.
Matty Collins and Christian Doidge added further efforts in the second half.
Carmarthen are at home to Welsh League giant-killers Cambrian & Clydach in the last four.
