Liam shows his class to win second pool event
FIFTEEN-YEAR-OLD Liam Williams from Carmarthen became the second winner of the Carmarthen Dragons Junior Potters monthly tournament at the Railway Club.
After 13 players entered the festive event for the first time, it was the steady, consistent potting shown by Liam that came out on top after he beat newcomer Zak Summers 3-1 in the final.
Organisers of the Junior Potters — Elliot Dunn and Jason Davies — are delighted with the progress shown by the youngsters throughout 2012, and would like to thank Alun Evans of Dr Mz for his assistance, and The Railway Club committee for their continued support.
It is hoped that more events, and friendly matches against children from nearby towns can be arranged to give the young potters even more competition and help their improvement.
