Gower College Swansea students support Kenyan school children through sponsored Walrus Dip
KINDHEARTED students at Gower College Swansea took to the wintry sea at Caswell Bay in aid of schoolchildren in Kenya.
The Walrus Dip, which is now in its second year, saw students run into the freezing cold waters until they were completely submerged.
Each of the students was raising money for the Kenya Community Education Project, which provides children in western Kenya with midday meals. The project was started in 2003 through a former student who took a gap year and taught in the East African country.
