Lee Trundle backs charity soccer match
FOR those buying a ticket for a special charity soccer game in Llandarcy on the weekend it was a win-win situation — a chance to see former Swans favourites roll back the years while helping raise money for a worthy cause.
Lee Trundle was among those present at an All Star's charity Football match between Swansea City All Stars and a Buddy's All Stars XI, that took place on the 3G Pitch, in the Academy of Sports, Llandarcy, on Sunday.
Proceeds from the match went to the Buddy Buddy Scheme, a charity set up by former soldier Paul Mathias.
An organiser said: "Paul aims to help proud and brave soldier's come to terms, cope and hopefully beat Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
"He is also helping them to try and find jobs, accommodation."
