On Wednesday, 29th February - 'Leap Day' - Abercrave Welfare Hall hosts a concert organised by the Ystradgynlais Brass Band that will also feature performances from Abercrave and Caehopkin schools.

The concert will celebrate the life of these schools, that are due to merge into a new school on the Abercrave site in September 2012 and the long history of the band. 

Tickets are priced at just £4 and are available in advance from the schools, by contacting Christine on 01639 849083, or e-mailing ystradband@yahoo.com and will be available on the night when doors open at 6:30pm.  The concert starts at 7pm and children enter for free when accompanied by an adult.

The band has received a lot of support from the communities of Abercrave and Caehopkin in the past and look forward to another enjoyable and entertaining evening.
