Kits help spot alcohol misuse
WALES'S top doctor visited Swansea University to launch a package of advice helping counsellors to spot signs of alcohol misuse in students.
The Welsh Government gave £15,000 towards the development of the Alcohol in Higher Education Toolkit, consisting of guidance co-designed with the NUS and Drinkaware.
Ruth Hussey said: "This is not a matter of lecturing young people about how much they drink. Rather it is a way of helping to recognise alcohol misuse and reducing the impact.
"This toolkit gives student welfare services practical advice."
