Kite surfer injured on Swansea beach
A KITE surfer had to be airlifted to hospital after losing control in the gusty weather off Swansea Bay.
The Wales Air Ambulance was called out at 12.06pm after the 19-year-old woman collided with a wooden post on the beach and then a wall in the area near Singleton.
She was flown to Morriston Hospital with back and shoulder injuries.
