Ki Sung-Yueng frustrated to miss out on Swansea City return
KI Sung-Yueng admits he is disappointed he will not be able to face parent club Swansea City this weekend.
The £5.5 million midfielder has played in all five of Sunderland's games since joining the Black Cats on a season-long loan just before last month's transfer deadline.
But Ki will be forced to sit out on Saturday because he is ineligible to play against Swansea - and he is already eyeing a return to action in next week's Tyne-Wear derby.
"I can't play against Swansea which is disappointing, but I hope the boys can play well," the South Korean international said.
"Hopefully I will be back in the team for the Newcastle game.
"I feel much better now after playing a few games.
"I think I'll be stronger when we start again after the international games too."
