Kev's doubling up for laughter
A FOILED suicide and mishaps on the Costa make for an entertaining comedy double bill from Fluellen Theatre Company next week.
You're Having A Laugh lines up a duo of plays on Monday and Tuesday with regular panto dame Kevin Johns doling out the laughs, minus the dress, at Swansea's Grand Theatre Arts Wing.

"The two plays that make up the evening are very, very funny," says Kevin, "and I'm really looking forward to playing them again at the Grand."
In the first half, Ole! Mrs Roberts, Kevin plays Terry, who along with his wife Polly, is invited to stay at the Benidorm villa of a recently widowed friend.

But murder is in the air and rickety ladders, deep swimming pools and a less-than- perfect-knowledge of Spanish combine to comic effect.
In the second half, To Whom It May Concern, Mason, a middle manager, decides to jump off the top of his office building when he is dumped by his girlfriend.
But his attempts are foiled by a succession of colleagues and rescuers who seem every bit as incompetent as him.
Kevin says both pieces are tightly written by Fluellen regular Ray Williams.
"The great thing about Ray," says Kevin, "is his amazing ability to take potentially serious and tragic incidents and to turn them into hilarious family comedies."
Jessica Sandry, Claire Novelli and Peter Richards share the stage too, with Monday's performance unfolding at 7.45pm and Tuesday's at both 2pm and 7.45pm.
#Fluellen serves up some lunchtime theatre at the Grand too, on the last Saturday of each month, from 12.30pm.
This Saturday's sees the sitcom-style You and Me Both bring characters Gareth and Daisy to a holiday cottage owned by David and Fleur.
The trouble is that the owners live next door and David and Daisy used to be married to each other.
That show unfolds at Swansea's Grand Theatre too.
