He was discharged from the University Hospital of Wales the following month, but did not require surgery.
He has been recuperating at home.
Mr Davies was elected to the assembly at the last election at the age of 70, taking back Llanelli from Plaid Cymru by 80 votes.
An Assembly Labour Party spokesman said: "Everyone in Welsh Labour is delighted to see Keith Davies back at the Senedd. He is happy to be back in work and will receive as much support as he needs from the Assembly Labour Group."
Writing on Twitter, fellow Labour AMs said it was good to see Mr Davies back in the Senedd at the second plenary session of the year.
Labour AM Ken Skates wrote: "Good to have you back, comrade!"
