Katherine heads east for concert

NEATH mezzo-soprano Katherine Jenkins has jetted off to China to star in a concert of Olympic proportions.

The 32-year-old singer, pictured on the iconic Great Wall of China, has been rehearsing for Audi's East Meets West event in the Beijing Olympic Park.

She tweeted the picture to her hundreds of thousands of fans following her on Twitter. Katherine simply said: "On the Great Wall of China."

She also tweeted a photo of herself clutching a Chinese-style paper fan saying: "I'm a huge fan of you all."
