Juniors' joy at Games roles
FOUR members of Carmarthen Junior Badminton Club have returned after spending 12 days at the badminton events as Young Games Makers for the London Olympics.
The team were involved with technical officials in courtside assistance during the games and were picked as the team for the finals.

They got the chance to meet both the men's and women's finalists, Lin Dan and Lee Chong Wei, and Li X R and Wang Y H respectively.
Nikhil Pandit of the Youth Games Makers received an invitation from the Indian team management to spend time with the Indian team and meet the players and coaches. Saina Nehwal, the women's singles bronze medal winner, gave her playing racket to Nikita Pandit and the Indian team signed T-shirts for Nikhil, Venkat and Nikita.

"The highlight was meeting the All England champion and head Indian coach P Gopichand, who shook our hand and wished us all the best," said Nikita.
"The experience was amazing and we hardly have words to explain the awe of it, but it will definitely stay vivid in our memories for a long time."
