Josh McEachran targets first team
JOSH McEachran has revealed his determination to make an impact at Chelsea following a frustrating loan spell at Swansea City.
The 19-year-old was hoping for an extended run for Swansea when he arrived at the Liberty Stadium in January.
However, he started only one Premier League game for the club, making a handful of appearances off the bench as Brendan Rodgers preferred the trio of Leon Britton, Joe Allen and Gylfi Sigurdsson in midfield.
McEachran has now set his sights on impressing manager Roberto di Matteo at Chelsea, but is not ruling out another stint out on loan.

"I want to play as many games as I can for Chelsea this season," he said. "I'm a Chelsea player and I want to play for Chelsea.
"But if the manager wants to send me out on loan then that's up to him at the end of the day.
"Last season was a difficult time for me and I had to deal with a lot of frustration at Swansea. The whole reason I went there was to gain more experience of the Premier League but it didn't work out that way.
"The team was playing well at the time and Brendan didn't want to change his side. If they had been struggling then I might have got more games, but that wasn't what happened.
"I didn't know I wasn't going to be playing when I went to Swansea so it could have worked out both ways.
"There are always setbacks and frustrations in football. It's all about how you deal with them."
