Jones and Rees make it an all-Welsh Lions front row
ADAM Jones and Matthew Rees have been handed starts for the Lions in the second Test against South Africa on Saturday.
The pair pack down alongside the Blues' Gethin Jenkins.
It is the first time the Lions have started an official Test with an all-Welsh front row since 1955.
Shane Williams is on the bench after impressing in the midweek clash with Emerging Springboks.
In all, Ian McGeechan has made five changes for the game at Loftus Versfeld.
Rob Kearney, Luke Fitzgerald, Jones, Rees and Simon Shaw come in.
Lee Byrne, who has been struggling with a foot injury, Ugo Monye, Phil Vickery, Lee Mears and Alun Wyn Jones are out.
James Hook fails to claim a place on the bench, the selectors sticking with Ronan O'Gara as cover for Stephen Jones.
