Johns takes the belt after arm bar victory over Orrey
SWANSEA mixed martial arts fighter Brett "The Pikey" Johns claimed the Pain Pit bantamweight title and stayed unbeaten following an arm bar victory over Cardiff's Joe Orrey at a packed Newport Centre.
Johns, who is ranked 24 in the British featherweight rankings, stepped down a weight to fight Orrey who is ranked 19 in the bantamweight division.

After some good early exchanges, Johns took the fight to the floor using his judo background to get the upper hand on Orrey and win by arm-bar in just under four minutes to claim the belt.
The unluckiest fighter was Abertillery's Kyle Prosser who was clearly leading by two rounds against Dave Addicot following a textbook floor performance. However, he fell foul of a punch in the third, resulting in a cut eye and the doctor deemed he was unable to fight on.

Tillery Combat's Owain Parry fell victim to the quickest finish of the night, 23 seconds, against Nottingham's Max Cotton. Cotton caught him with a sweet right that sent Parry to the floor and as the Englishman tried to finish the fight, referee Mark Woodard stepped in to stop the contest.
