HIGH street jeweller Clive Ranger has become the latest casualty of the high street and gone into administration.

A buyer is being sought for the Cardiff-headquartered company which specialises in diamond rings and has stores in Cardiff, Swansea, Bath and Bristol.

It employs 34 staff and all stores are continuing to trade while a buyer is sought.

Richard Hawes of Deloitte has been appointed administrator of the company and said: "Clive Ranger Ltd is a well-known brand throughout the South West and South Wales, but has faced a downturn in trading as a result of the current difficult economic trading conditions.
