IG Nobel Prizes master of ceremonies Marc Abrahams is speaking at a Swansea centre.
He will be giving a free talk at the Science Cafe of the city's Dylan Thomas Centre on Wednesday at 7.30pm.
The Ig Nobel Prizes celebrates the unusual, honours the imaginative and aims to encourage interest in science, medicine and technology at a Harvard University ceremony.
It forms part of the Ig Nobel Awards Tour Show, 2013, which is going across the UK.
