Hywel Dda Health Board launches LGBT network.
A HEALTH board covering Carmarthenshire has launched its first network for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) staff.
Hywel Dda Health Board's All Wales Public LGBT network has been created by bodies across Wales working together.
It aims to advise on policy and practice, raise awareness of LGBT issues in the workplace, provide confidential and peer support for staff and support LGBT staff to develop their skills and careers.
It is just one of the ways in which the Health Board is promoting equality and diversity.

Last week, results published by Stonewall of the annual Workplace Equality Index 2013, showed Hywel Dda Health Board demonstrated progress after implementing a number of initiatives to provide a supportive work environment for LGBT staff which is free from discrimination and embraces diversity.
