Hyundai planning entry-level Veloster
HYUNDAI is planning an entry-level Veloster Turbo targeted at a list price of less than £20,000, it has been confirmed.
A version called the Turbo SE (Special Equipment) recently went on sale for £21,995, fitted as standard with a huge kit list that includes leather seats, climate control, satnav and 18in two-tone alloy wheels.
AHyundai UK insider has revealed that a new version of the "1+2-door" car is on the way, with some of the Turbo SE's kit removed, such as satellite navigation and leather seats, and a list price at least £2,000 lower.
The aim is reported to be to maintain as much of the functional equipment as possible, losing only superfluous luxury items.
