Hoyt pulls off shock victory
LLANELLI tennis star Evan Hoyt stunned eighth seed Xin Gao of China to reach the last 16 of the Eddie Herr International Junior Championships in Florida.
Hoyt won in three sets, 6-1 2-6 6-3.
The 16-year-old will now face Germany's Kevin Kaczynski, the pair's first meeting on the junior circuit.
The Eddie Herr International is the build-up event before the prestigious Orange Bowl Junior Championships, which is set to start next week.
