Horse box destroyed by fire in Kidwelly
FIRE crews from Kidwelly and Pontyates were called to a horse box which had gone up in flames near a farm on Saturday evening.
The 7.5 tonne horse box was destroyed in the blaze, which was reported on an unclassified road near Morfa Bach farm, Kidwelly, at 5.43pm.
Fire crews used two breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets to tackle the fire.
A Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said no animals were hurt.
