Horse DNA found in Whitbread beef burgers and meat lasagne
HORSE DNA has been found in meat lasagne and beef burgers at pub and hotel group Whitbread.
The company owns Premier Inn and Beefeater which have outlets across South West Wales.
A spokeswoman for Whitbread confirmed the products were immediately removed from menus and will not be replaced until after further testing.
She said: "We would like to sincerely apologise to our customers for any concerns or inconvenience that this may cause."
