A CHARITY with stores across South West Wales is hoping to benefit from the January sales.

British Heart Foundation hopes people who snap up new household goods in the high street sales will donate their old ones to the leading charity.

It's particularly keen to get bigger items such as sofas, chairs and wardrobes, along with electrical items such as TVs, for its furniture and electrical stores.

Retail director Mike Taylor said: "With so many local people buying new household items such as beds and sofas in the January sales we know there will be lots of unwanted items around.
