Holocaust Memorial Day Trust holds workshop in Swansea
SWANSEA has hosted a workshop aimed at helping plan next year's Holocaust Memorial Day.
The free workshop, organised by the Holocaust Memorial Day Trust in the Swansea Centre for Deaf People this week, will provide inspiration, guidance and opportunities for people planning events big or small.
Holocaust Memorial Day takes place on January 27 each year and is a time for everyone to pause to remember the millions of people who were murdered or persecuted during the Holocaust, Nazi Persecution and in subsequent genocides in Cambodia, Bosnia, Rwanda and Darfur.
A spokesman for The Holocaust Memorial Day Trust said: "The workshop was about sharing ideas and briefing people ahead of Holocaust Memorial Day.
"It was a great success and we had around 25 people turn up from all over Wales."
