Hollywood star Rhys Ifans films documentary in Swansea pub
HOLLYWOOD star Rhys Ifans met drinkers in a Swansea pub last night as he filmed a documentary for Welsh-language television channel S4C.
The Twin Town star and boyfriend of Anna Friel spent time in the Queens Hotel chatting with Jim Jones, who has translated Dylan Thomas's Under Milk Wood into Welsh.
The documentary will be broadcast in 2014 and will focus on whether Dylan Thomas could speak Welsh.
Mr Jones said he enjoyed chatting with the actor and added: "He was asking me lots of questions and thankfully I was able to answer them.
"I hadn't met him before but it was a pleasure to meet him."
Paul Almit, 28, of Uplands was among fans who had their photo taken with the star and said: "He seems like a really nice guy."
