Holiday fun in the garden
THERE is a host of half-term fun at the National Botanic Garden of Wales this week including fire-eaters, an inflatable assault course, a pirate ship and some meerkats.
Yesterday's Wild Wednesday event, supported by Carmarthenshire Council, saw all activities laid on free and free admission to the under 16s. Other activities include craft workshops, pottery, pumpkin carving, cookery and circus skills.
There will be more family activities throughout the remainder of half-term week.
In the garden the main themes are hedgehog hibernation, fungi, leaf colours and lots more autumnal delights. It is open from 10am until 4.30pm.
