THREE cheers surely must go to Mr Tony Fitzgerald for highlighting the dangers in using wireless devices (Evening Post, February 16).

It only takes me a couple of minutes to email my meter readings to my energy provider and I will resist all efforts to convert to a smart meter on the understanding that there really does appear to be a lot of confusion/ignorance regarding the pros and cons of wifi technology.
