Henson attracts French attention
LONDON Welsh need to get their skates on if they are to secure Gavin Henson's signature, with several other clubs also showing interest in the former Wales centre.
But the 30-year-old hasn't yet signed for a team in France.
Interviewed on the radio, Exiles coach Lyn Jones said: "When we have time we will give Gavin a ring and I'm sure he will be receptive for a discussion.
"Once upon a time he was a very good player. He has regressed for several reasons and if we could do a deal, if he was still available, if he hasn't already signed to go to France, it would be great. You never know."

Henson hasn't yet penned any deal to play in France, though it is understood there is interest in him there despite his spell at Toulon ending abruptly last year.
There are also apparently clubs in England who have enquired about his services.
One place where Henson will not be playing is Wales. He has been linked to the Scarlets, but sources say there is nothing in suggestions he is bound for the ex-Celtic champions.
But if London Welsh are serious about signing him, they need to move quickly or risk seeing him hitch his star to another club.
The issue for them is what kind of player Henson is today. He was at the peak of his powers during his early days under Jones at the Ospreys, but much water has run under the bridge since. Welsh will also need evidence Henson will buy into their team ethic.
