Hat-trick for Stars wing Tom
NEW Dock Stars remain top of division five west after their fifth win in five games, an excellent 49-10 victory at Pantyffynnon.
Wing Tom James led the Stars' scoring with three tries, with one each going to wing Keiran James, full-back Mark Davies and scrum-half Jason Baxter. They were also awarded a penalty try for a scrum offence, and Baxter landed four conversions and two penalties.
Pantyffynnon had their chances but indiscipline cost them two yellow cards.
Centre Rob Davies scored their only try after winning his chip and chase. Prop Nick James converted and kicked a penalty.
Second-placed Cefneithin won 35-6 at Penygroes, while third-placed Pontyates eased to a 15-3 home win against Pembroke thanks to five penalties by centre Kieran Evans.
Bynea stepped on the gas in the second half to extend a 10-8 interval lead into a 31-8 win at home to Llangadog.
They scored four tries in all through centre Alex Kwan, wing Jac Morgans, hooker Mark Liley and No. 8 Adam Lee.
Full-back Mark Davies kicked a penalty and three conversions and Jonathan Cronin put over one conversion.
Pembroke Dock Quins beat winless Neyland 17-10 and St Clears hammered bottom side Llangwm 43-3.
