Happiness on the menu for Swansea diner workers
STAFF at two Swansea businesses have got their plates full at the moment after their companies scooped major accolades in a national business poll.
Nando's restaurant — which has a branch on Wind Street in the city centre — has been voted by its employees as the best big company to work for in the UK, beating the likes of financial heavyweights Goldman Sachs PricewaterhouseCoopers and American Express to the title.

Meanwhile, SA1-based Admiral insurance has been named in the top 20 of the best 100 British companies for staff satisfaction in this year's Sunday Times poll.
Nando's Swansea manager Nino Gatti said: "We are very proud of what we do and are proud to put on the uniform.
"The company strives to create a happy atmosphere, and the staff enjoy coming to work — and that comes across in our customer service."
Mr Gatti, aged 24, of Port Talbot, started working part-time at the restaurant when he was studying motorsport engineering and design at Swansea University. But after graduating he decided to stay with the company, and has been manager for the past 18 months.
"Staff training is very important, and every month we have staff meetings to talk about ideas and any problems we have," he said. "It is a fun place to work."

Meanwhile, just across the road in SA1, staff at Admiral voted it in at number 16 in the top 100 best companies to work for. Admiral — which employs almost 3,000 people in Swansea, Cardiff and Newport — is up 21 places in this year's list.
The company's chief executive, Henry Engelhardt, said: "We are delighted to have been placed 16th in the list of the 100 best companies to work for this year.
"It's our highest placing since we began entering the awards in 2001. Happy staff are vital to a successful business and are a cornerstone of our culture.
"We continually try our best to make Admiral a happy and supportive place to work.
"Being one of only two companies to have featured in the list for 10 years suggests we must be doing something right."
