Halloween mask raiders' assault on Swansea shop workers

However, they did leave a clue behind — a rolling pin was found at the scene.
The incident happened at the Spar store on Carmarthen Road, Waun Wen, at around 10.45pm on Saturday.
Three suspects entered the rear of the store and assaulted two members of staff before making off with cash and a Samsung mobile phone.
A member of staff at the store said: "There were two young boys working here at the time and both were a assaulted, one has a fractured cheekbone. They are both shaken up."
Asked about the robbery itself, she added: "They got away with money but not a lot."
The suspects were wearing hooded tops with balaclavas and Halloween-type masks.
Police are appealing to any witnesses or anyone with information about the suspects or a car which was seen leaving the scene to come forward.
Detective Sergeant Carl Price, of Swansea CID, said: "During the robbery one of the suspects has left a wooden rolling pin at the scene which was used to threaten the staff.
"We are appealing to the public for any information in relation to this incident and to anyone who may have knowledge of the rolling pin left behind at the scene.
"A dark-coloured Ford Focus was seen to make off from the area and drive off up Carmarthen Road in the direction of Cwmbwrla."
