THE Ffwrnes Comedy Club is the hot ticket in Llanelli tomorrow. The regular fixture at the town's new theatre will convene on the first Friday of the month, with a cabaret-style night in Stiwdio Stepni.

Tudur Owen, from S4C's PC Lesley Wynne show, headlines, with support from Matt Rees, with Clint Edwards hosting. The laughs begin at 8pm.

Rising Stars Theatre Company will unleash their new show at Pontardawe Arts Centre on Monday with their take on Pandora's Box. Beyond the Box takes the ancient Greek tale as its starting point, with the show beginning at 7.30pm.

Get your boots on to mark World Wetlands Day at Llanelli's Wetlands Centre on Saturday. There will be organised walks, activities and displays from 9.30am until 5pm.

The Paula Gardiner Trio stops off on its Beautiful Anarchy Tour at Neath's Gwyn Hall next Wednesday. The Royal Welsh College Jazz Ensemble will feature too. From 7.30pm.

Known to most as the young, but not especially thrusting, policy adviser Ollie Reeder in The Thick Of It, Chris Addison made the transition from stand-up to acting pretty seamlessly. But he is back on the stand-up trail and makes his way to Swansea's Grand Theatre on Tuesday at 8pm until 10pm.

Gifted youngsters will share their skills at the Abertawe Festival for Young Musicians, running all day from tomorrow until Wednesday with places available at workshops for string, wind and saxophone players of all abilities.
