Goal-mad Dockers go through in FAW Trophy
SWANSEA Dockers made it through to the second stage of the FAW Trophy with a 6-2 win over Ferndale.
Kyle Morgan and Andrew Bernomi netted twice, with Steven Hughes and John Keaveny also on target.
Meanwhile, the goal-hungry Dockers beat Ragged School 5-1 in the Swansea Senior League Charity Shield.
Kyle Morgan put Dockers 1-0 up and they doubled their advantage when Andrew Bernomi rounded the keeper. Anthony Price made it three and a superb Liam Hughes header put Dockers 4-0 up.
Raymond Alli's long-range effort rounded off Dockers' scoring before Ragged pulled back a late consolation.
In division one of the Swansea Senior League, Penlan opened their campaign with a 4-0 win over Gors. Jamie James opened the scoring for the hosts before Kevin Crabbe made it 2-0.
A 30-yard finish from Karl Moocha made it safe and a drive from distance from Robert Connachie completed the scoring.
In a thrilling clash, North End won 6-4 at Winch Wen. North End started the match with 10 men, went 1-0 down, but came back from the opening setbacks to move 3-1 ahead thanks to a man-of-the-match display from Jonathan Eames.
All North End's goals were scored by debutants starting with Ashleigh Dew's strike to level the score.
Eames put North End in front before Andrew Lorey got the first of his brace.
Winch Wen pushed North End all the way in an excellent second half before Eames scored twice.
A superb 40-yard strike from Steven Gardener gave Carreg Wen a 2-1 win over CRC Rangers.
Karl Mainwaring's penalty gained a point for Port Tennant Colts in a 1-1 draw with Llangyfelach. Rory Edwards's volley had put the visitors ahead.
Cwmfelin Press came back from behind to claim a 2-2 draw at Plough Colts.
