In midweek the Magpies won a thriller 4-3 against Maesglas at Maes Radley.

Outstanding midfielder James Evans netted twice and there was a goal apiece for Darren Williams and Phil Furney.

Dewi Stars recovered from being a goal down at half time against visiting Maesglas to run out 3-1 winners in a game marred by three players receiving red cards.

As the north Ceredigion side responded there were goals for Jamie Evans, Peter Bradley and Arwel Jones.

A striker with a nose for goals is the top priority for St Dogmaels player/manager Steve Williams after the Greens missed a hatful of chances and were held to a 3-3 draw by Llanboidy at the School Field.

Saints were denied by the woodwork on several occasions and other efforts went narrowly wide giving rise to speculation that the boss may draft in veteran reserves front-runner Chris Jones for the visit to leaders New Quay this Saturday.

Openings

Llanboidy created three openings in the first quarter and netted each time, all three going to striker Martin Owen.

That's how it remained until 18 minutes from the end when Slovak, Johnny James and Dorian Evans came off the bench and turned things around.

Evans had a penalty brilliantly saved by Carwyn Lewis before Lee Burrows opened the home account and goals by Slovak and manager Williams earned a point.

An own goal and a strike by skipper Eilir Evans put Felinfach in the driving seat against visiting Aberporth before half time, but the Airmen netted twice early in the second period to secure a draw.
