Glamorgan draw against Gloucestershire in pre-season friendly
SKIPPER Mark Wallace helped himself to some early-season runs, but Glamorgan's top-order batsman struggled on the second and final day of their drawn friendly against Gloucestershire at the Swalec Stadium.
Wallace helped rescue the Welsh county from 93-7 with a fine knock of 72 as Glamorgan eventually reached 238-9 declared in their innings on another unseasonably chilly day in the capital.
The only frontline batsman to get going was left-hander Will Bragg, who hit 40, while all-rounder John Glover gave Wallace valuable support with a useful 28.
Gloucestershire had declared their first innings on their overnight score of 193-7 and at the close made it to 34-2 in their second innings.
