Glamorgan batsmen head off for Sri Lanka
TWO Glamorgan cricketers have set off for a nine-day training camp to Sri Lanka as the county continue their preparations ahead of the new season.
Batsmen Gareth Rees and David Lloyd will join players from other counties on the trip.
The duo will benefit from intense training in outstanding conditions ahead of the Glamorgan's ten-day pre-season tour to South Africa next month.
"The idea of the training camp is to continue to develop the skills of these batsmen in new surroundings with top-notch facilities," said Glamorgan's elite performance manager Matthew Mott.
