Gerald Guard needs you votes
I recently nominated my Grandad Gerald Guard from Magor for the MegaBlok's MEGA Bloke of the year and he has been shortlisted in the top ten. I nominated for all his volunteering work that he has done and is still doing. He volunteered for the Boys Brigade since he was a teenager, then he volunteered for the Welsh Ambulance Service for 20 years when he retired from his job at British Rail, and now he regularly visits prisoners as a prison volunteer. I thought he deserved some recognition for all the hard work and time he has given over the years, and I am absolutely thrilled that he has been shortlisted. He is now in the grand final and in order to win, he needs to accumulate the most votes.
