Generous Swansea couple to spread Christmas cheer once again
A SWANSEA couple are giving up their time to make Christmas an occasion to remember for courageous children.
The Evening Post is thrilled to have Pick A Mix Entertainment — otherwise known as husband and wife team Richard and Nina Shepherd — on board for our special festive celebration again this year.
They have pledged to give up their time for free for the third year running.
Each year the publication throws a Christmas Cheer party to bring happiness into the lives of youngsters who have been through a very tough 12 months. And Swansea-based Pick A Mix Entertainment is our first choice to help bring a smile to the youngsters on our guest list as they always get each and every child onto the dance floor to enjoy the afternoon.
The firm specialises in children's discos, life-size look-a-like characters and more.
Mr Shepherd said: "This is our third year entertaining the children at the Evening Post's Christmas Cheer party and we are thrilled to be asked to come back every year.
"It was so emotional to see the children enjoying themselves."
The party will take place at the Mercure Swansea Hotel in Phoenix Way on November 24. The food and venue has been offered free of charge.
Santa will be the special guest of the day and will be handing out the festive gifts, along with Swansea City mascot Cyril the Swan.
To nominate a child to go along to the party email your nominations to email@example.com or send your forms to editor's secretary Joanne Leworthy at the South Wales Evening Post, Urban Village, 220 High Street, Swansea, SA1 1NW. The deadline is Friday, October 25.
