Gemma Bissix has vowed she won't be taking part in any more reality TV in the next year.

The actress, who is returning to Hollyoaks as evil Clare Devine, took part in Dancing On Ice this year but hopes that the recession won't force her to accept other reality TV jobs.

"I don't necessarily want to do any more reality TV and things - I am going to give it a year and try and see what I can get out of it and hopefully be a bit fussy, but I don't think it's possible in this recession," she said.

But speaking on the red carpet at the British Soap Awards, she added she might not have a choice in doing more reality shows.

"I just think with the reality TV it's very difficult actually being established as an actress," she said. "There's not many dramas being made, things being written and so it's a difficult world out there for actors at the moment."

Gemma also said she was ecstatic to be back as Clare in Hollyoaks.

"I definitely didn't expect it but it's been fantastic playing Clare," she said. "Evil Clare is just a dream come true so I really enjoyed my comeback."
