Gandhi had the right idea
A SENTIENT creature was torn to shreds by a pack of hounds on a busy road in Carmarthen in broad daylight in front of many horrified passengers on a bus. This barbaric so-called sport is supposed to be illegal, so why is it still happening all over the UK, and why are so few people being prosecuted?
Considering that this law is being flouted on a regular basis, does it mean that all of us can now break any law that we choose, or does that privilege only apply to the bloodthirsty brigade who enjoy seeing an animal suffer?
Many years ago Gandhi was asked: "What do you think of Western civilisation?" He replied: "I think it would be a good idea."
I tend to agree.

“Yes of course let's quote Gandhi, who belonged to a country that upon independence had mobs of religious fanatics burning people alive if they didn't agree with their point of view. And of course let us not forget the Thugee cult and the old tradition of Suttee.
A fox does to other animals what the hounds did to him so please don't try and kid yourself they trot around the countryside helping rabbits in distress. Those teeth aren't for show!”
