On the memorial fun ride
Friends of the pair took part in a sponsored bike ride on Saturday, July 4 - aiming to help the families with costs resulting from the tragedy. Riders started at the Bucket and Spade pub and rode along the Millennium Coastal Path to Pwll Pavillion.
Alex's sister Victoria George said the event was a great success. She said: "It was a fantastic day – there was a great turnout and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.
"It was a nice way to lift everybody's spirits after a very hard few weeks."
